APPSC Gr I Mains exams from May 3

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) released the schedule for the Mains written examination (descriptive type) for Group-I Services on Tuesday. The examinations are set to take place over seven days, from May 3 to May 9, this year.

On May 3, the examination will begin with the Telugu Paper (qualifying nature) from 10 am to 1 pm. This will be followed by English Paper (qualifying nature) follows on May 4 and timings will be same.

From May 5, candidates will tackle subject-specific papers. The first is Paper-I, focusing on general essays addressing contemporary regional, national, and international themes. On May 6, Paper-II will be about the history, culture, and geography of India and Andhra Pradesh.

Paper-III, scheduled for May 7, will examine polity, constitution, governance, law, and ethics.

On May 8, Paper-IV will cover the economy and development of India and AP. Finally, the exam schedule will conclude on May 9 with Paper-V, focusing on science, technology, and environmental issues.
