Arsenal sent clear message amid Florian Wirtz to Liverpool transfer
Liverpool look set to sign a second player from Bayer Leverkusen after completing a deal for Jeremie Frimpong already this summer.
Florian Wirtz - one of the hottest prospects in European football - is set to join Frimpong at Anfield and become Arne Slot's second signing of the summer already, with the transfer window only open for four days.
Wirtz has been linked with in the past and had looked set to move to Bayern Munich in this summer transfer window, but it is Liverpool who have won the race to sign the 22-year-old in what could be a £100million deal.

Wirtz arriving at Anfield only strengthens Slot's options in the midfield. The Dutchman can already call upon Wataru Endo, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch.
