The mega star, 50, is currently promoting his biopic Better Man, which sees his life play out on screens, from his early days growing up in Stoke on Trent, to topping the charts with and his turbulent life afterwards. But it's since emerged that for the past five years, bosses behind the Real Housewives franchise have been attempting to have Robbie and his wife Ayda sign up for the programme.
It comes after show bosses confirmed that following the success of, bosses are set to launch The Real Housewives of London to replace Ladies of London, which followed the lives of the likes of , Annabelle Neilson, , Caroline Fleming, Juliet Montagu and Noelle Reno.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Real Housewives creator revealed that and Robbie had been approached, several times – but Ayda had reservations. Host Andy said: "We've asked Ayda to be a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills like five years in a row."
Robbie, 50, was heard chanting: "Do it, do it, do it," before Ayda responded: "It's a lot of pressure, you've gotta get him on board, you've got to get the monkey on board." Andy stated that: "Rob has to come on and make some sauce like Carrie Ann would. I think you're worried that Rob would get too involved."
Musician Rob joked: "I would." While Ayda commented: "I mean, he would be the House Husband of Beverly Hills!" The revelation comes after Ayda, 45, revealed to her co-stars that she had been evacuated from their Los Angeles homes due to the ongoing fires.
She also confirmed that her beloved parents had potentially lost everything in the devastating fires, as well as their home. Ayda's mum, Gwen, is also currently undergoing chemotherapy as she battles cervical cancer. "It's chaos here - it looks like some kind of warzone and it's just all so sad," she told the panel.
The former Fresh Meat actress continued: "I've had about ten people evacuated with me including my dad, who has potentially lost his house. We're waiting to hear whether he has in fact lost everything and my mum has chemo early tomorrow too." Robbie and Ayda had been in Los Angeles for the premiere of his biopic on January 9, which was later cancelled due to the ongoing fires.
Meanwhile, Rob shared with fans on social media that he'd woken up to seeing "lots of friends' houses disappearing" in the blazes. "We're waiting to hear whether he has in fact lost everything and my mum has chemo early tomorrow too," he said on .
