The Voice's Sir Tom Jones leaves viewers distracted by 'ageless' appearance

Sir Tom Jones' age-defying looks stole the spotlight on The Voice last Saturday, leaving viewers gobsmacked as he rocked a duet with LeAnn Rimes. As they settled in for the second wave of blind auditions, Sir Tom and LeAnn took centre stage for an impromptu performance after she admitted a longstanding desire to sing alongside him.

"What do you love singing these days?" LeAnn queried, eager to delve into Sir Tom's current musical faves. "What is your favourite song to sing at your gigs?"

Without skipping a beat, Sir Tom asserted: "I think once a hit, always a hit, you know there is something in a hit song that remains that way. But I like to do a mixture of stuff."

The crowd couldn't hold back, pleading for a slice of Sir Tom's iconic vocals. With all eyes on them, LeAnn confessed, "I've always wanted to sing with this man right here," reports the Express. prompting Sir Tom to ponder over which track they could collaborate on.

Unsure herself, LeAnn probed: "I don't know, did you have any thoughts on this?"

"Do you like The Everly Brothers?" Sir Tom questioned, with LeAnn quickly professing her love for the iconic duo.

"Let It Be Me," he suggested, before checking: "Do you know that song? Do you want to give it a shot?"

Their heartfelt rendition not only touched their fellow coaches but also struck an emotional chord with viewers, triggering tears and a wave of awe over Sir Tom's timeless charm and vocal prowess.

One fan gushed, "I just love Tom Jones. He's unbelievable, his voice is like butter honestly one of the most recognisable singing voices the world has known. Amazing."

Another admirer praised: "Tom Jones has still got it, absolute icon," while a third shared their emotional reaction: "What have I turned into Saturday night and I'm sat crying at Tom Jones singing."

A different fan mused: "Will there ever be a day when Sir Tom is too old to sing. I think not."
