BPSC 70th CCE Re-Exam: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced its decision to conduct BPSC 70th CCE re-exam for candidates who appeared at the Patna exam center. The BPSC Combined Competitive Examination (BPSC 70th CCE) for the cancelled exam will now be held on January 4.

A full bench meeting of the commission was held on Thursday regarding the cancellation of the exam held at Bapu Examination Complex, Patna on December 13. It informed the candidates that a detailed notification regarding the BPSC 70th CCE re-exam will be sent on the official website ().

Around 4.80 lakh candidates registered for the BPSC 70th CCE exam took the recruitment exam at 945 centers last Friday. Candidates appearing at the Bapu exam center had alleged that the BPSC 70th CCE paper was leaked. They claimed that the seal of the question paper was broken.

What did the commission say about the paper leak?

The commission had earlier dismissed complaints of technical glitches in the portal and called it 'baseless' allegations. Keeping in mind the larger interest of the students, the BPSE decided not to postpone the exam.

This came after a large section of students protested for extending the exam date as they could not complete the application process, depriving them of a chance to appear in the recruitment exam.

Later the commission said that it would conduct the BPSC 70th exam as per the old pattern on the same day. Earlier denying the postponement of the exam, the commission said that if postponed, the recruitment process would be delayed by 5-6 months. Candidates appearing at the Patna exam center can expect the admit card and exam timing details soon on the official portal. The recruitment exam was conducted between 12 noon and 2 pm.
