JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Exam: Guidelines, Dress Code, and Exam Details
The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam begins tomorrow, January 22, 2025, with Paper 1 (BE/BTech). Over 13.8 lakh candidates have registered for the session. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam has strict guidelines and a specific dress code that candidates must follow at the examination centers.
Exam Schedule-
Paper 1 (BE/BTech):
Dates: January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2025.
- Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Afternoon: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning):
Date: January 30, 2025.
Shift: 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM
To ensure a smooth and secure exam process, the NTA has outlined a dress code for all candidates:
For Male Candidates:- Avoid wearing caps, mufflers, or any head covering.
- Choose comfortable and simple clothing
- Avoid wearing stoles, dupattas, scarves, or similar clothing items.
- Refrain from wearing jewelry such as rings, earrings, bracelets, or necklaces.
- Electronics: Mobile phones, earphones, microphones, smartwatches, calculators, pagers.
- Stationery: Pencil boxes, handbags, purses, or any written material.
- Clothing Accessories: Any items that violate the dress code, such as jewelry or bulky clothing.
- Arrival Time: Reach the exam center 2 hours prior to the start of the exam to complete formalities.
- Seating Arrangement: Sit only on the designated seat mentioned on your admit card.
- Entry Restrictions: Latecomers will not be allowed entry after the gate closes.
The NTA has implemented these guidelines to maintain fairness and security during the exam. All candidates must adhere strictly to these rules to avoid any disqualification or inconvenience.
