Before the festival of Diwali, the Narendra Modi government of the Center has increased the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Rabi season crops. In this meeting, the central government has decided to increase the wheat crop by Rs 150 per quintal and mustard by Rs 300 per quintal.

Wheat MSP increased by Rs 150 per quintal

According to reports, the central government has increased the MSP of wheat for Rabi crops by Rs 150 per quintal to Rs 2,425 for the marketing season 2025-26. The government has increased the MSP of mustard by Rs 300 per quintal from Rs 5,650 per quintal to Rs 5,950 per quintal.

MSP of gram has been increased by this much

In this meeting, the Modi government has increased the MSP of gram by Rs 210 per quintal to Rs 5,650 per quintal. At the same time, the government has increased the MSP of lentils by Rs 275 and safflower by Rs 140. This move of the Modi government is being considered important for the assembly elections to be held in Maharashtra and Jharkhand and the by-elections to be held in many states.
