The budget session of Rajasthan is going to start on January 31 and in such a situation many big announcements are going to be made, in such a situation there is a discussion that after Madhya Pradesh, now the Vice Chancellor of the University in Rajasthan will also be called Vice-Chancellor. This change will be made as per the budget announcement of the Bhajanlal government.

If media reporters are to be believed, this change will be made in the Vice Chancellor designation in the Rajasthan Universities Amendment Bill-2024 in the upcoming assembly session. The maximum age limit of the Vice Chancellor can also be reduced to 65 years.

The Gurukul tradition was prevalent in the country in ancient times. Following this, the central government expressed its intention to change the designations, after which the Madhya Pradesh government took the initiative and changed the designation of Vice Chancellor in universities to Vice-Chancellor. After this, changes are being made in other states as well. In this sequence, the designation of Vice Chancellor will now be changed in the universities of Rajasthan.
