Following the massive critical acclaim of Farzi, Shahid Kapoor is now preparing for the release of its much-anticipated second season.

According to recent reports, the actor has been handed the biggest pay cheque of his career for Farzi Season 2, highlighting the show's soaring popularity and his rising demand in the digital space.

A source close to the development told Pinkvilla

, “ Shahid Kapoor’s Farzi 2 is set to go on floors by the end of this year. It has also been revealed that the actor has been paid a premium amount of Rs 45 crore for the upcoming thriller series. Notably, this amount turns out to be the biggest he has ever received for a project to date.”

A source disclosed that Shahid Kapoor typically commands a fee of ₹25 to ₹30 crore per film. However, for Farzi

Season 2, he has reportedly charged a significantly higher amount.

Since Farzi is a digital series, Shahid follows a different pricing structure for OTT projects compared to his theatrical releases.
