There are pre-decorated ones for those with busy schedules and plain ones for the people who want to get creative. “People still prefer baubles and stars to decorate their trees,” said Shaukat Khan a shopkeeper from New Market, though he notes digital availability has affected sales. In Hatibagan, seller Prabir Das added, “Medium-sized trees are our bestsellers.”
