Eight years after the tragic attack that was unleashed onto a merry Christmas market in Berlin, a similar incident came to pass on December 20, when a man drove a BMW into a group of individuals at a Christmas market in the east-central city of Magdeburg in Germany.

Elon Musk Reacts To German Attack

As per reports, the man who drove this vehicle into a group of people that killed 2 people was a Saudi 'fugitive'.

Although it was reminiscent of the jihadist-Islamist attack that came to pass in Berlin, the 50-year-old man in question, identified as Taleb A is reportedly an atheist and was allegedly against the German state's policy of accepting refugees. It is also now learned that he was a fugitive, and the Saudi government had sought his extradition, which the German government rejected.

In the middle of all of this, Elon Musk, the head of Tesla, X and SpaceX, took to X to react and thereafter espouse support for far-right/alt-right German political party, AfD or Alternative for Deutschland (Germany).

In his first post on the matter, Musk said, "Only the AfD can save Germany."

This endorsement is in line with Elon Musk's ever-increasing inclination towards right-wing politics, globally. Pandering to this, Musk went on rampage on his platform, sharing one post after the other on the party, and how country is on peril.

Then Musk also reported on his platform, X, that his microblogging website has become the most popular 'news app' on AppStore in Germany.

Eventually, the AfD chief posted thanking Musk. In her post, Alice Weidel said, "Dear @elonmusk,Thank you so much for your note. The Alternative for Germany is indeed the one and only alternative for our country; our very last option. I wish you and President Donald #Trump all the best for the upcoming tenure! And also, I wish you and all the American people Merry #Christmas and a Happy New Year. #AfD #DeshalbAfD #Musk."
