If you also want to make plum cake on Christmas, then for that we are going to tell you its easy method.
Dry fruits are required to make plum cake
Raisins: 1/2 cup
Cashews (chopped): 1/4 cup
Almonds (chopped): 1/4 cup
Figs (chopped): 1/4 cup
Tutti frutti: 1/4 cup
Apple juice: 1 cup (for soaking dry fruits)
Cake making ingredients
Flour: 1.5 cups
Baking powder: 1 tsp
Baking soda: 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon powder: 1/2 tsp
Nutmeg powder: 1/4 tsp
Butter: 1/2 cup
Sugar: 3/4 cup
Vanilla essence: 1 tsp
Milk: 1/2 cup
Method
To make a delicious plum cake, first, soak the dry fruits in apple juice overnight. Soak it for at least 7-8 hours. After soaking it overnight, start making the cake the next day. For this, first of all, preheat the oven to 180°C.
After this, sieve the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder, and nutmeg powder in a vessel. After this, beat the butter and brown sugar well in a separate vessel until it becomes light and creamy. Now add eggs one by one and beat.
After beating the eggs, now add vanilla essence to it. After mixing all the things, coat the dry fruits by adding a little flour so that they do not settle down in the batter. Slowly add the dry ingredients (flour mixture) to the prepared butter and sugar mixture. Add milk as per the need so that the batter becomes smooth and thick. Finally, add the soaked dry fruits and nuts and mix gently.
After mixing it, apply butter on the mold in which the cake is to be made and put butter paper. Now pour the batter into the cake mold and bake at 180°C for 35-40 minutes. Check the cake by inserting a toothpick in it. If the toothpick comes out clean, the cake is ready. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely. To decorate it, you can put a small plastic Christmas tree on it.
