Ravi Teja's 'Mr. Bachchan' to arrive on THIS OTT platform less than a month after release

Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar's action drama, Mr. Bachchan, is set to make its OTT debut on Netflix on September 12.

The film, an official remake of Ajay Devgn's hit movie Raid, failed to impress at the box office and was criticized for the age gap between Teja and the female lead Bhagyashri Borse.

This was Teja and Shankar's third collaboration after Shock and Mirapakay.

While announcing the OTT details, Netflix wrote on social media, "#MrBachchan is coming to Netflix on 12 September in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada!"

They also shared a striking poster of Teja from the movie.

In response, fans expressed their excitement toward the film, while some expressed shock that the movie is arriving on OTT less than a month after its release on August 15.

'Mr. Bachchan' marks Borse's Telugu debut

Mr. Bachchan marked the Telugu debut of Borse, who earlier had a brief role in Chandu Champion.

The film was produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under his banner People Media Factory, with music composed by Mickey J Meyer.

Despite its lackluster performance in theaters, there is anticipation to see how it will fare on digital screens given Teja's popularity among the Telugu audiences.
