The Sicilian prosecutors are considering charges of negligent shipwreck and manslaughter in connection with the superyacht sinking.

The British-flagged "Bayesian" sank off the north of Sicily during a storm on Monday.

However, he emphasized that the investigation is still in its early stages due to recent body recoveries.
