Virat Kohli And Rohit Sharma Replacement: Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have retired from T20 International. In such a situation, a question must come in the mind of Indian fans that who will take responsibility of both after Kohli and Rohit? Former Indian cricket team spinner Piyush Chawla answered this. 

While talking on Shubhankar Mishra's YouTube channel, Piyush Chawla named Shubman Gill and Ruturaj Gaikwad as replacements for Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Piyush just shared his views because it is impossible to replace legends like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, just like no one has been able to replace all the legendary batsmen like Sachin Tendulkar and Sunil Gavaskar till date. However, it is possible that after one player leaves, the other player takes over the workload in the same way.

Piyush Chawla said, "Shubman Gill, because of his technique. You see that if a batsman goes through bad form, usually his technique comes in handy and helps him get out of difficult situations. If you notice, any batsman who has great technique will never go through bad form for a very long time." Taking this conversation forward, he said, "For me, Shubman Gill is up there with Ruturaj Gaikwad."

Let us tell you that Shubman Gill has almost confirmed his place in all three formats of Team India, whereas this is not the case with Ruturaj Gaikwad. He has not got many opportunities so far. Regarding Gaikwad not getting many opportunities, Piyush Chawla said, "This is part of the game. It comes with the package. Sometimes it is unfortunate that when the opportunity comes, luck does not favor. But regardless of this, for me these two players will take over after Virat Kohli."
