The facility of Navratri special thali is Mumbai Central, Delhi Junction, Surat, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna Junction, Ludhiana, Durg, Chennai Central, Secunderabad, Amravati, Hyderabad, Tirupati, Jalandhar City, Udaipur City, Bangalore Cantt, New Delhi, Thane, Pune, Mangalore Central Station. In the update given by the spokesperson of the Ministry, it was told that due to Navratri, special attention has been given to quality and nutrition in preparing the fasting thali.
Earlier, keeping in mind the festive season, the Railways has decided to run more than 6,500 special trains during Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath Puja from 1 October to 30 November. More than one crore passengers are expected to benefit from this arrangement of the Railways. Last month, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had said that this year a total of 5,975 special trains will be run keeping in mind the passengers during the festive season, which is much more than last year.
