Indian Railway Cancel Train: In view of the threat of Dana cyclone, trains going to Odisha and Kolkata have been cancelled. More than 300 flights have been cancelled. Railways have cancelled 552 trains as a precautionary measure.
Indian Railway: Cyclone 'Dana' that has arisen in the Bay of Bengal will hit the coast of Odisha late tonight on 24 October. Preparations are being made to deal with this cyclone which is moving towards the Odisha coast at a fast speed. Odisha and West Bengal will be most affected by this storm. Dana storm will pass through the northern part of Odisha at a speed of 120 km per hour. In view of the threat of heavy rain and storm due to this cyclone, the railways have also cancelled more than 500 trains.
Railways canceled trains
In view of the threat of Dana cyclone, trains going to Odisha and Kolkata have been cancelled. More than 300 flights have been cancelled. Railways have cancelled 552 trains as a precautionary measure. South East Railway has cancelled more than 150 trains while East Coast Railway has cancelled 198 trains. Eastern Railway has cancelled 190 trains and South East Central Railway has cancelled 14 trains. In view of this cyclone, 500 trains passing through Odisha and West Bengal have been cancelled.

The trains which have been cancelled include Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Express, Kamakhya-Yeshwantpur AC Express, Howrah-Puri Shatabdi Express, Howrah-Bhubaneshwar Shatabdi Express and Howrah-Yeshwantpur Express. Dozens of trains including Howrah-Secunderabad, Shalimar Puri, Kamakhya-Bangalore, New Delhi-Bhubaneshwar, Kharagpur-Villupuram, Howrah-Bhubaneshwar, Shalimar-Hyderabad, Howrah-Puri and others have been cancelled in view of the storm. These trains of Bihar-Jharkhand are cancelled
Due to this storm, the railway has cancelled 12 trains going to Bihar and Jharkhand. In this list, 03230 Patna-Puri Special, Patna-Ernakulam Express, Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad Special, Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Special, Puri-Jayanagar Express, SMVB Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Tejas Rajdhani, Puri-Anand Vihar Neelanchal Express, Jayanagar-Puri Express, Patliputra-Saraigarh-Patliputra Special, Danapur-Rajgir Intercity Express, Rajgir-Tilaiya-Gurpa Express Special and many other trains have been cancelled in view of the storm.
