Recently, more than 70 bomb threats have been received regarding flights in India, which later proved to be false. Meanwhile, big news has come from Afghanistan's capital Kabul that three bomb blasts were heard one after the other near the airport there. However, these blasts have not been officially confirmed yet and it is also not clear who was targeted. This is not the first time that blasts have taken place in Kabul. Even before this, many attacks have been carried out there targeting Shia minority communities.

On August 12, one person was killed in a van explosion and the Islamic State claimed responsibility for it. The aim of this terrorist organization has usually been to target public places and the Shia community.

Minorities are becoming targets.

The blasts near Kabul airport have taken place at a time when efforts are on to evacuate foreign nationals and locals due to the deteriorating situation since the Taliban took over. There have been several blasts at Kabul airport in recent times, in which mosques, hospitals, and schools have also been targeted. Islamic State stated the attack saying that they carried out the blast targeting members of the Shia minority community.

Such incidents are frequent in the capital.

Meanwhile, Afghan authorities barred an Indian aircraft from using their airspace after receiving a bomb threat, forcing it to return to Delhi. Unlike bomb threats linked to flights in India, actual bomb blasts have been heard in Afghanistan's capital Kabul recently. There have been several blasts in Kabul, with the Shia minority being the main target.
