Washington, September 18; In a candid revelation, Nicole Kidman has shared her insecurities about her appearance and how they shaped her experience in the fashion world. Known for her iconic style, Kidman reflects on her struggles with body image during her early career in a new docuseries.

In the series, Kidman revisits the 1990s fashion scene, including a memorable moment when designer John Galliano created a bespoke dress for her for the 1997 Oscars. At the time, Kidman was dealing with insecurities about her body, which made her feel conflicted about the special dress.

"Can you believe it?" Kidman said. "My whole life, I wanted to be 5'2" and curvaceous, and suddenly, being 5'11" and skinny with a flat chest felt like a burden rather than a benefit."

Kidman also expressed admiration for fashion icons like Audrey Hepburn, Katharine Hepburn, and Grace Kelly, who shaped their own unique styles with the help of their designers. She noted, "They loved fashion so much. I thought, why aren’t we bringing that kind of elegance into Hollywood now? Why aren’t we wearing those exquisite designs made in Paris?"

Reflecting on her youth, Kidman remembered being teased for her tall, slender figure. "I was a red-headed, fair-skinned girl who was almost 5'11" at 14," she recalled. "Being exposed to the glamorous world of fashion felt like stepping into a fantasy."
