Paolo Di Canio has launched a scathing attack on 's hierarchy for their decision to let leave, suggesting he would 'arrest' those involved in his sale.

Former star Di Canio didn't mince words when criticising the Old Trafford chiefs for letting the talented midfielder slip through their fingers for what he considers a paltry sum in today's inflated market.

Speaking to , Di Canio declared: "I would go to Manchester United to arrest all the directors. How can you give McTominay away?"

Joining McTominay at Napoli is fellow Scotland international Billy Gilmour, who arrived from Brighton in another bargain deal.
