Swami Avdheshanand Giri lauds CM Yogi Adityanath for successful Maha Kumbh 2025
PRAYAGRAJ: Acharya Mahamandaleshwar of Juna Akhara, Swami Avdheshanand Giri, lauded Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the grand and successful organisation of Maha Kumbh 2025 and compared Yogi to two great rulers of ancient India, Harshvardhan and Vikramaditya.

"Yogi possesses courage, vision and fearlessness required for leadership," said Swami Giri, adding, "He is a determined, invincible man." He said grandeur of Maha Kumbh and excellent management were all results of Yogi Adityanath's relentless efforts.
Giri also extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whom he described as the ‘Rashtra Rishi' of India, stating that under his guidance, Yogi took Maha Kumbh to unparalleled heights. He said Yogi worked tirelessly to manage the vast influx of devotees and ensured every aspect of the event was planned and executed meticulously.
He commended special management and high-level arrangements visible at Maha Kumbh, with a focus on ensuring safety and comfort of millions of devotees attending the event and highlighted its green, clean and holy atmosphere.
He emphasised that Maha Kumbh gained worldwide recognition and was declared a cultural intangible heritage by UNESCO. "Yogi's resolutions are pure, thus, Maha Kumbh has become a model for world-class arrangements, even with limited resources, and serves as an example for govts across the world on how large-scale events can be managed successfully," he said.
