Class 6 boy electrocuted

Bhopal: A 12-year-old boy, a student of class 6, was allegedly electrocuted in the early hours of Monday while attending a Ganesh pandal in the Shubh Eastern Colony, Patel Nagar, Bilkhiria. The boy, identified as Manav alias Mohit Raghuvanshi, came into contact with a metal pipe carrying an electric current. He was rushed to AIIMS by his family where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Police said that Manav's father, Surendra Raghuvanshi, is a govt teacher and lives in Shubh Eastern Colony. Manav accidentally touched a pipe that was part of the pandal setup and was electrocuted. Police have registered a case and handed over the body to the family after a post-mortem examination.
