Couple, infant killed in car-tanker collision

Jaipur: A couple and their one-year-old daughter were killed in a collision between their car and a tanker on the Ring Road under Shivdaspura police station on Wednesday evening.

The impact was so intense that the front part of the car was completely destroyed, resulting in the deaths.

Speaking to TOI, SHO (Shivdaspura) Ranjeet Singh identified the victims as Kishan Lal, his wife Pinki, and their daughter Guddu. After receiving the report, a police team was dispatched to the scene to investigate.

Kishan Lal, a resident of Bilwa, was travelling in the car with his family. As they reached the Ring Road, the car collided head-on with a tanker coming from Kanota and heading towards Shivdaspura. After considerable effort, police managed to retrieve the bodies from the wreckage.

The truck driver fled the scene after the accident, abandoning his vehicle. Police are currently investigating the matter.
