Visually impaired students witness parl proceedings

Kanpur: Around one hundred visually impaired students from Kanpur witnessed the parliamentary deliberations on the Waqf bill on Wednesday. The students from the school for the blind observed the entire proceedings via headphones in the visitor's gallery. Following the session, they dined at the parliament canteen where they performed patriotic songs before Kanpur MP Ramesh Awasthi. The students experienced the parliamentary proceedings and expressed their delight. These students received an invitation from MP Ramesh Awasthi, who had previously visited their institution. MP Ramesh Awasthi mentioned that after proceedings, the students toured the parliament and learnt about the rich heritage of both new and old parliament buildings. TNN
