The missing girl has been identified as Ankita Koyari of Sibsagar, Assam. She was staying in a rented house along Church Road, Thaikoodam. According to police, she has been missing since 7pm on Tuesday.
Police said the girl's elder sister works at a shop in Kochi. She brought her to Kochi to enrol her in a school here two weeks ago. She was staying at the rented house for that purpose. Police suspect that the girl planned to go to Assam.
