Spectator injured at Alanganallur jallikattu dies

Madurai: A man from Theni, who was injured while watching the recently held Alanganallur jallikattu, died at Government Rajaji Hospital here on Tuesday.

Selvamurugan, 45, of Theni district, was at the bull collection point on Jan 16, when he was struck by a bull. He was rushed to the hospital.

It may be recalled that a bull tamer, Naveen Kumar, 22, of Vilangudi in Madurai, was gored to death by a bull at Avaniyapuram jallikattu on Jan 14.
