432 students awarded degrees at GSFC varsity convocation

Vadodara: A total of 432 students were awarded degrees at the sixth convocation of GSFC University here on Wednesday.

They included 286 male students and 146 female students from the School of Technology, the School of Science, and the School of Management Studies and Liberal Arts.

Padma Shri Prof Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay, director of the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, was the chief guest. She awarded gold medals to 12 students and silver medals to 11 students. The degrees were conferred by university's president P K Taneja, IAS (retd).
