KALYAN: Former Union minister Smriti Irani, who came to campaign for BJP candidate Sulabha Gaikwad from the Kalyan East assembly constituency on Friday, fiercely attacked the Congress. She said that the Congress is strangling the Constitution. It may be recalled that Ganpat Gaikwad is the MLA from Kalyan East. This time, the BJP gave the ticket to his wife, Sulabha.

Smriti Irani alleged that during the assembly elections, some opposition parties are raising the slogan of vote jihad. This is against the Constitution of India. An attempt is being made to divide society on the basis of religion. She appealed to the public to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party on development issues.

Referring to Article 370, the former Union minister Irani said that the way Congress and the India Alliance passed the resolution in Jammu and Kashmir, the Constitution was strangled. This is an insult to the Supreme Court. She said she wanted to tell Congress and the India Alliance that every Indian resolved that Article 370 will not be reinstated.

When Article 370 was implemented in Jammu and Kashmir, the reservation rights of tribals, Dalits, and backward communities were in danger. Under no circumstances will Congress's plans be fulfilled in Jammu and Kashmir. They will not be able to reinstate Article 370.

Irani said that history was created in India under the leadership of Narendra Modi when 33% reservation was given to women. Whether it is Jan Dhan Yojana or Ladli Behan Yojana, the BJP increased the respect of women by transferring cash to women's bank accounts.
