Maharashtra polls: Shrikant Shinde backs BJP's Sulabha Gaikwad in Kalyan East assembly elections amid rumors
KALYAN: In the Kalyan East assembly elections, will the Chief Minister's son and Kalyan Loksabha MP, Shrikant Shinde, following the Mahayuti Dharma, campaign for BJP candidate Sulabha Gaikwad or for his close aide Mahesh Gaikwad, who is contesting as an independent after rebelling against the party? Ending the suspense on this, Shrikant Shinde, while addressing the Mahayuti rally in Kalyan on Saturday, told the Shiv Sena workers that no one should believe any rumour and should work hard for the victory of Mahayuti candidate Sulabha Gaikwad, just as they did in the Lok Sabha elections to make him win.
During this, Shrikant said that once the order comes in Shiv Sena, then workers start working. In this assembly, no one should believe any rumour and should work to make Mahayuti candidate Sulabha Gaikwad win. If someone says one thing or another, then do not believe him.
During this, Shrikant Shinde said that it is the responsibility of Shiv Sena to make the BJP candidate win from this seat. Just as our Shiv Sainiks worked hard to make me win the Lok Sabha elections, they should work to make Mahayuti candidate Sulabha Gaikwad win in the same way.
At the rally, Shrikant indirectly also attacked Mahesh Gaikwad and said that if someone is spreading rumours, then do not believe in his rumours and work for the Mahayuti candidate. Today we have to get people to vote on only three things - Dhanushya Ban (bow and arrow), lotus, and NCP's clock.
Shinde said that it is the responsibility of all our workers to ensure the victory of the candidates standing on these three symbols. Our people should not do anything that can raise doubts.
He also said that if we perform well in the assembly election, its impact will be seen during the Corporation election. This is the reason that, keeping all differences aside, we have to follow the dharma of the Mahayuti.
