Mann Sundar Actress Urmila Sharma on World Meditation Day says, "It helps to enhance attention, emotional awareness, kindness and mental calmness even in difficult situations"
Actress Urmila Sharma, known for featuring in popular shows like Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai!, Jija Ji Chhat Par Hai, FIR, May I Come In Madam? and Kumkum Bhagya among others talks about how practicing meditation helps her to stay fit and healthy. She is currently seen in Mann Sundar.

This marks a significant moment in global recognition of meditation's value. She said, "Meditation, often thought of as a path to self-awareness and compassion, can also be a path to better health. People use meditation today to cope with stress and worry in a busy world. It can help bring calm and insight to people who often feel anxious. Meditation refers to a set of techniques to enhance attention, emotional awareness, kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and mental calmness even in difficult situations."
Talking ahead about practising meditation. Urmila, last seen playing the role of Lakshmi in the TV show, Meri Saas Bhoot Hai, continued, "I'm happy that how meditation, a way to explore ourselves and a technique to keep us healthy with no expenditure has got worldwide recognition. I always practice meditation in the morning and that has brought positive changes in my life. It can also teach you to be a little less reactive when tough situations arise."
She added, "There are hundreds of different meditation techniques that vary from simple to more complex. It's best to start with a simple practice that you can work into your regular routine over time. You can do this daily at the same time, even if it's just a few minutes to start out. Over time, you will build discipline and skill with practice."
Urmila has acted in movies alongside Aamir Khan, and Salman Khan and previously she also featured in 'Raanjhanaa', 'And Life in a Metro' among other films.
