'Mufasa: The Lion King' which released in India with voice overs from some of the top stars of the country, in various langauges has been doing exceptionally well here. The movie's Hindi version which has voice over from Shah Rukh Khan and his son AbRam has been doing the best amidst all the langauges. Mahesh Babu has done the voice over for the Telugu version of the film. The film has released in India in English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. Aaron Pierre has voiced the English version of the movie.

Mufasa has made Rs 2.35 crore on its second Friday, which was day 15. The total collection of the film so far, according to Sacnilk, is Rs 126.90 crore. This day 15 collection comes after the movie earned around Rs 50.3 crore in its second week. Out of this, the Hindi version has made Rs 19.2 crore, while the English version collected Rs 15.5 crore.

The film had released along with Baby John starring Varun Dhawan but has been doing much better than it. 'Baby John' has collected only around Rs 36 crore so far.

Meanwhile, 'Pushpa 2' has dominated over both these movies, while 'Mufasa' has also been doing quite well. This has done very well also because it benefitted from the holiday season and as it was Christmas vacation for schools in India, which has led to kids flocking to the theatres with their parents.

'The Lion King' had released in India in 2019 and made a collection of Rs 157 crore. This success has also helped in stimulating the numbers of 'Mufasa' which may be expected to cross this number in the coming days.
