Reasi Assembly Election Result 2024: BJP's Kuldeep Raj Dubey leading with over 3500 votes

Reasi, one of the 90 assembly constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir , saw a voter turnout of 72.06% in the 2024 assembly elections. The key candidates in this election included Kuldeep Raj Dubey ( BJP ), Mumtaz Ahmed ( INC ), and Bodh Raj Meania (JKPDP), along with several independent candidates.

In the 2014 elections , Reasi had 108,535 registered electors, with 87,171 valid votes cast. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Ajay Nanda won the seat, securing 22,017 votes and defeating independent candidate Saraf Singh by a margin of 1,887 votes.

The 2008 election had 95,553 electors, with 70,336 valid votes. BJP candidate Baldev Raj won, receiving 26,031 votes, and defeated Indian National Congress (INC) candidate Jugal Kishore by 6,662 votes. In 2002, Jugal Kishore of the INC won, securing 23,045 votes and defeating BJP’s Baldev Raj by 2,056 votes.

In the 1996 elections, Reasi had 70,987 electors, with a turnout of 42,812 valid votes. Janata Dal candidate Jagjiven Lal won, obtaining 11,974 votes, and defeated BJP's Baldev Raj by 4,902 votes.
