Yavatmal election result 2024: INC's Anil Alias Balasaheb Mangulkar ahead of BJP's Madan Madhukar
Yavatmal assembly constituency is one of the 288 constituencies in Maharashtra, located within the Yavatmal district and representing one of the district's seven assembly segments.
According to Election Commission, INC's Anil Alias Balasaheb Mangulkar is in the lead against BJP's Madan Madhukar. The INC candidate is ahead with a margin of 6,157 votes after 22 rounds of counting.

According to the 2011 Census, the constituency's population was 116,551, with a near-equal gender distribution of 58,549 males and 58,002 females. Yavatmal boasts a high literacy rate of 82.9%, with male literacy at 85.1% and female literacy at 80.9%.
In the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections scheduled for November 20, the BJP nominated Madan Madhukar, while Anil Alias Balasaheb represented the Congress.
In the 2019 Assembly elections, BJP’s Madan Madhukarrao Yerawar won with 80,425 votes, closely followed by Congress’s Anil Mangulkar with 78,172 votes, while independent Santosh Marotrao Dhawale received 38,345 votes.
Similarly, in 2014, Yerawar won with 53,671 votes, narrowly defeating Santosh Marotrao Dhawale who received 52,444 votes, and BSP’s Mo Tariq Mo Sami with 34,498 votes. The vote counting is scheduled for November 23.
