SC collegium recommends two new judges to AP HC
Vijayawada: The supreme court collegium, in a recent meeting, resolved to recommend the names of two judicial officers to be appointed as judges of the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
According to a statement issued by the collegium, headed by the chief justice of India (CJI) Sanjiv Khanna, the names of Avadhanam Hari Haranadha Sarma and Dr Yadavalli Lakshmana Rao were recommended for appointment as judges of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, under the judicial officers category.
The union govt is yet to take a decision on the recommendations of the collegium.
