Ayushi Khurana , known for her performances in shows like Aangan – Aapno Kaa and Ajooni , is currently seen in the show Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile . The actress, who recently got married to long time boyfriend Suraj Kakkar, during her visit to Lucknow, shared insights into her acting journey, how she approaches characters, and her thoughts on transitioning into OTT.
Talking about Lucknow, the actress shared, “My best friend is from Lucknow, and when I told her I was visiting, she got so excited! She started listing things for me to do—try Tunday Kebabs , shop for chikan kurtas, and much more. She even suggested all the best spots in the city. I’ve never been to Lucknow before, and it feels amazing to be here. Right from the moment we landed at the airport and saw the sign ‘Muskuraiye, aap Lucknow mein hain’, tabse hum bas muskuraye jaa rahe hain. I’m definitely planning to explore, eat, and shop.”
Coming from Burhanpur, a small city in Madhya Pradesh, Ayushi said, “This is actually my third show, and by now, my parents are used to the idea of their daughter being an actress. Everyone in my city is happy and with each new show their happiness and pride only grows. People are thrilled that I’m representing them and making a mark with my work. The show I’m currently doing is based on a story from Gwalior, which is also in Madhya Pradesh. That makes it even more special, as everyone back home feels a deeper connection to it.”

‘I wouldn’t like to do bold content on OTT’
After exploring small screen, when asked about the transition to OTT, and if she was okay doing bold content on the medium, Ayushi shared, “I don’t like to limit myself by saying I’ll only work in one medium. I just want to keep working because I genuinely love what I do. If I hadn’t been working on TV, I would have happily explored OTT. I want to do some action roles in the future. As far as the bold content is concerned, I wouldn’t like to do it. My family wouldn’t be comfortable and even I will not be !”
