Mumbai: Trustees from Warring Camps File Molestation Complaints Against Each Other In Deendayal Education Trust Dispute
The woman trustees from the Deendayal Education Trust have lodged molestation complaints against the male members of the warring camps. For long, the two groups, who are relatives, have been at loggerheads over their legitimacy as trustees. The feud is currently under review of the state charity commissioner.
According to the Kurar police, the trust runs Swami Vivekanand High School and Junior College of Science, Commerce and Arts in Appapada, Malad East. Both the groups had met around 11.30am on Monday to discuss the long-standing dispute.
During the meeting, the argument escalated and led to a brawl among the members. Both the groups, including teachers, reportedly physically assaulted each other. Subsequently, women members, aged between 40 and 50 years, from both the sides filed complaints against at least eight men, accusing them of molestation.
