A viral video featuring a man dressed as Gangamma Thalli with Allu Arjun 's ' Pushpa 2 ' look painted on his belly has taken social media by storm. Posted by Mukesh Mohan, a Kerala-based blogger, the clip has racked up over five million views on Instagram.

The video, filmed outside a movie theater in Thrissur, shows the man dancing to drum beats, his body painted blue and his face red in the Gangamma Thalli avatar. On his belly, Allu Arjun’s signature 'Pushpa 2' look is recreated. As a crowd gathers, the man captures everyone's attention, mimicking Allu Arjun's iconic hook step from the movie. Passersby stop to take selfies with him.

Mukesh shared that the man, named Dasan, is a local artist who has been donning tiger costumes since he was 12 and regularly participates in promotional events, both film-related and otherwise.

The viral moment comes amid the buzz around 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', which released on December 5. One of the film's standout scenes, 'Gangamma Jathara' showcases Allu Arjun's Pushpa Raj in a saree, performing a ritualistic dance. This mesmerizing sequence draws inspiration from the real 'Gangamma Jathara' festival in Andhra Pradesh, where men dress as women to honor the deity Gangamma Thalli, believed to bring protection and prosperity.
