Albinder Dhindsa, Blinkit’s founder, announced that the feature launched just a week ago and has already seen significant traction. In this short period, users have deleted over 104,924 orders, highlighting the widespread appeal of this functionality.
When an order is deleted, all associated details are permanently removed from the user’s account. It’s important to note that customer support services will no longer be available for deleted orders. However, if the order was placed under a different account, the details will still be accessible to the original purchaser.
Steps to Delete an Order on Blinkit
Deleting an order is straightforward. Here’s how you can do it:
- Open the Blinkit app.
- Tap on the profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Navigate to “Your Orders.”
- Select the specific order you wish to delete.
- Click the delete icon in the top-right corner.

- Once an order is deleted, the details cannot be recovered.
The feature allows deletion of even older orders, including those placed over a year ago.
