WhatsApp is preparing to introduce a new customization feature for chat windows, which will enable users to personalize their chat experience. Initially spotted in the beta version of WhatsApp for iOS, this feature is now expected to be available for Android users as well.

Recent information from WABetaInfo reveals that the feature aims to enhance user interaction by allowing customization of chat bubble colors. Users will find a new " Chat theme " section in the app's settings, offering options such as " Message colour " and "Wallpaper." Although the app currently supports changing the chat wallpaper, the chat bubble color customization is still in development.

The feature is anticipated to offer at least 10 different chat themes to provide a more personalized experience. Once a user selects a color, it will automatically set as the default theme, adjusting both the wallpaper and chat bubble colors accordingly.

As the feature is still being developed, its release date for the stable version remains uncertain. WhatsApp has recently introduced various updates, including GIPHY integration and a Customer Sticker Maker, and is rumored to be working on exciting new features like double-tap message reactions and status resharing similar to Instagram.
