Delhi Ganesh passes away: Colleagues and fans mourn actor, tributes pour in
On Sunday morning, folks in Chennai learned that well-known actor Delhi Ganesh had died at home on Saturday night at the age of 80. He was not only a well-known actor, but also admired by his colleagues in the Tamil cinema business. The actor last appeared in Kamal Haasan's Indian 2, which was released a few months ago. His funeral will be place on Monday, November 11.
Celebrities from Tamil cinema, politicians, and fans have expressed their condolences on social media following his unexpected death.
Tamil star Karthi wrote, “Saddened by the demise of Delhi Ganesh, sir. His iconic roles in numerous films and his ability to bring to life, unforgettable characters on screen will forever be etched in the history of Tamil cinema. You will be deeply missed, sir.”
On Sunday morning, Karthi and his father, renowned actor Sivakumar, paid their condolences at Delhi Ganesh's residence.
