Ben Stokes reveals burglars broke into house while wife and children were inside
Renowned all rounder and Test Captain of England, , made a rather startling revelation through his social media handle that his residence in the Castle Eden area in the North East, was looted while he was in Pakistan for the recently-concluded three-match Test series.
While putting out an appeal, Stokes described the minor details of how the distressing incident played out. The prolific cricketer mentioned that he would release the images of the stolen stuff, and was firm in his purpose for doing so. Understandably so, he was relieved that none of his family members were harmed during the robbery.
Last but not least, the Christchurch-born thanked the prompt endeavours of the police who, according to him, had provided physical and psychological support to the three immediate members about the incident. Notably, the episode transpired in the midst of 's second Test in Multan. It was the same game which marked his return to the side after a hamstring injury left him sidelined for the entire home series against Sri Lanka and the first rubber of the Pakistan series.
