Mollem crash: Injured bus driver dies

Ponda: Bus driver, Bhima Naik, 34, succumbed to injuries on Monday. He was stuck inside the wrecked cabin after a multi-vehicle accident at Mollem on Sunday and was undergoing treatment at GMC. Truck driver, Khajamuddin Muniyar, 47, a resident of Hubballi, Karnataka, had died on the spot on Sunday evening. Reportedly, the cabins of both—the truck and the bus—were mangled in the accident.

Collem police said the driver of the bus was responsible for the accident, and since he died, the case has been closed.
