Bhairathi Ranagal box office report day 6: Shivarajkumar's film witnesses a drop

Shivarajkumar’s Bhairathi Ranagal, which hit the screens on November 15, has made a solid impact at the domestic box office and is set to emerge as a winner. The film raked in a respectable amount on Wednesday (November 20) despite the fact that it was a normal working day. Bhairathi Ranagal is a crime drama, directed by Narthan.

l, which features Shivanna in the role of a crime boss, has packed a punch at the box office and received favourable reviews. According to Sacnilk, a trade website, the flick netted nearly Rs 70 lakh at the box office on its sixth day. This figure is slightly lower than the Rs 94 lakh it earned on November 19. 

Here is the day-wise breakdown for Bhairathi Ranagal:

Day 1: Rs 2.3 crore

Day 2: Rs 2.7 crore

Day 3: Rs 3.4 crore

Day 4: Rs 1.65 crore

Day 5: Rs 94 lakh

Day 6: Rs 69 lakh

Its total collection stands at nearly Rs 11.7 crore. The film is likely to witness a slight drop today (November 21) as well. However, the collection is expected to go up over the weekend given the favourable word-of-mouth.

, a sequel and a prequel to Mufti, is an action drama that features Shivanna the role of crime boss. The narrative centres on  the protagonist's rise in the world of crime. The film also touches upon  the events that take place after what was shown in Mufti. Bhairathi Ranagal features Rukmini Vasanth, Avinash, Chaya Singh, and Rahul Bose in key roles. Ravi Basrur is its music composer. He rose to fame with his work on the Prabhas-led Salaar

and Yash’s KGF. Moreover, he has also provided the background score for Singham Again. 

 This is Shivarajkumar’s  second Kannada film of the year after Karataka Damanaka , which hit the screens in March.  Inspired by the Panchatantra, it featured Priya Anand as the leading lady. Prabhudeva too was part of the flick. Shivanna recently revealed that he will be seen opposite a Bollywood actress in  a ‘mature’ romantic drama. The Om

actor was also offered a role in the H Vinoth-directed Thalapathy 69, starring Vijay and Bobby Deol. However, the Theeran helmer eventually withdrew the offer.
