Lorraine Kelly shows off 'new look' with I'm A Celeb tribute 'tattoo'
Presenter Lorraine Kelly appeared to take another bold step in her hosting duties as she showcased a new tattoo on her show.
On Wednesday morning (November 20), Lorraine was back at the helm of her self-titled programme and shared that she had got herself inked "this morning." The long tattoo, placed on the back of her right arm, included a sentence that read, "The Female Boss."
But not to alarm viewers who may have questioned what was going on, Lorraine's tattoo, which was dedicated to I'm A Celeb's Tulisa Contostavlos' famous inking, was not real and could most likely be washed off.
Lorraine's first tattoo was also in relation to receiving a fake design to promote the next round of his Invictus Games. Sharing a clip of Harry's sketch which landed online overnight, Lorraine said: "All is not quite what it seems.
"I don't think he's allowed to get a tattoo! Do you think any of the has a tattoo?"
She added: "I mean, I obviously got one this morning, I got one put on. It was a little bit painful, but it was worth it in the end."
Lorraine's fake inking replicates Tulisa's famous tattoo on her arm which has the same wording. The songstress, who is taking part in this year's I'm A Celeb, regularly flaunted her tatt when she appeared as a judge on ITV's .
But during her time on the show, Tulisa received backlash when she showed off her tattoo as viewers thought she was promoting her perfume of the same name. As the Ofcom complaints soared, Tulisa was forced to defend herself.
She said: "I was showing off my tattoo long before The X Factor. It’s always been my trademark and it’s always been my nickname," she stated in response to the hundreds of complaints.
Despite her defence, Tulisa was later forced to cover it up on the show after the media regulator launched an investigation. But since her appearance on I'm A Celeb, her loyal fanbase were delighted to see she reprised the iconic stance for the opening credits of the show.
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV1.
