Max Verstappen's unique attribute puts him 'on par' with Michael Schumacher
Max Verstappen is "on par" with according to former driver .
This weekend the Dutchman can enter an exclusive group by winning his fourth F1 championship. Schumacher and are among those to have already achieved the feat and could join the club this weekend in Las Vegas.
Schumacher, until Hamilton came along, dominated almost all of the sport's records and is spoken about as one of the greatest drivers of all time. Verstappen is approaching a decade in F1 and has long drawn comparisons among the elite.
His is seen as one of his finest. Verstappen has long been a master in wet weather conditions and proved that as the heavens opened at Interlagos, allowing him to go from 17th to first with the plaudits pouring in.

Glock told : “It is still a little while before we win the championship. But when it comes to his qualities in the rain and his qualities as a racing driver, can be put on a par with Michael Schumacher. Max is unbelievably good, what he keeps doing in races is extraordinary. Unique.”
Verstappen has been able to remain competitive despite Red Bull's performance falling away at times this season and is poised to win his fourth title on the trot. Only Schumacher, Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel and Juan Manuel Fangio won four on the bounce.
Christian Horner has continued to back his driver, who has copped criticism for his aggressive style, much like Schumacher. The Red Bull boss though hailed his latest victory - his 62nd in F1 - as one of his best.
He said: “It was a masterclass from Max. In difficult conditions on a very dreary day, he shone very brightly. To come from 17th on the grid, to have the patience, but also the attacking. He had his start, his first lap was outstanding. I think he passed six cars on the first lap. To win from that far back was beyond our wildest dreams this morning.”
Verstappen already has the third most wins in the history of the sport with his win success percentage edging that of Schumacher and Hamilton.
Gerhard Berger has previously declared the Dutchman the sport's greatest operator. He once told Austrian publication : “He simply lives with every fibre of his body for his sport, for Formula 1. That is his passion, which is why, for me, he is the world's best racing driver of all time.”
