Remember Shalini Passi from Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives? The celebrity who grabbed headlines for her statements on the show is now being talked about after DGGI has summoned her. A report claims that the Directorate General of Goods and Services Tax Intelligence (DGGI) has inquired about Shalini Passi, a former Pasco Motors partner and celebrity, due to the company's failure to pay taxes.
Passi was asked to make a statement and present documentation to the goods and services tax authorities in Meerut on March 13, according to ET. The summons, dated March 11, said that failure to comply with the inquiry is a crime and that it is considered a judicial procedure.

Amid all the talk about her tax case, we’re taking a look at the time she talked about her earnings and how they go to charity. Passi disclosed during a special session called "Delhi Wives ki Fab Lives" at Sahitya Aaj Tak that she used UNICEF to donate all of her money from the reality program to a village in Bihar. According to her, she donates all of her profits to various charitable organizations.
“This is a question that I've been asking everybody: Why am I born here? What is my purpose? As a human being, you do your best. My entire acting fee actually goes to a village through UNICEF in Bihar. Everything that I do, all my earnings go to charity. I work diligently with them."
Shalini said she has been working on a show that showcases Indian culture and another that focuses on women's voices. She did, however, disclose that she frequently receives comments indicating that the audience for this kind of work isn't big enough. Stressing her dedication, she said she was ready to present India's culture and women's power. Nevertheless, she admitted that audience preparation, production considerations, and expenses all play a role in these initiatives' success in addition to her own efforts.
Coming back to the case, Shalini is yet to make an official statement and all the information so far is based on reports.
