The videos, provided by Akshay and Deepali, an Indian-origin couple based in London, have received thousands of views within hours of being uploaded online. The videos capture the event's pleasure and vitality, with viewers appreciating how the festival of lights is enjoyed around the world.

One of the videos, posted by Akshay and Deepali, begins with London Mayor Sadiq Khan addressing the audience, saying, "I, as the mayor of London, get to celebrate many events in Trafalgar Square and I have got a secret to share with you. I don't think Trafalgar Square has ever looked this beautiful. And that is the power of London. That is the power of Diwali. From my family to yours, I wish you a very happy Diwali.”

In another viral post, US President Joe Biden celebrated Diwali at the White House, expressing gratitude for the South Asian American community's contribution to American life and ideals. 

He emphasized the group's development and participation, calling it "the fastest-growing and most engaged community in the world," and noted that Diwali is now celebrated "openly and proudly in the White House."

The event was attended by 600 prominent Indian Americans from across the country, including Congressmen, bureaucrats, and corporate executives. Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris was unable to join the celebration due to campaigning.
