Recently there were reports that Hrithik Roshan has purchased rights to a Hindi adaptation of Will Smith’s 2007 Hollywood film I am Legend. Now, a new report has claimed that not just Hrithik Roshan, even stars like Kartik Aaryan and Ranveer Singh are indulging in a “silent war” among themselves to star in Bollywood’s first zombie action thriller.
Hrithik Roshan is already working on a project with Kill
So, if Krrish 4 goes on floors, the zombie action film with Nikhil Nagesh Bhat will be pushed by a couple of years.

Ranveer Singh is developing the film in his own production company that he will launch later this year. Kartik Aaryan, on the other hand, has approached T-Series head Bhushan Kumar to develop a ground breaking zombie action film.
Interestingly, all three stars are represented by the same talent management agency

The source added, “Zombie films are difficult to make, and not everyone can pull them off. It requires a dedicated and skilled team of writers, directors, and actors, as well as a producer willing to shoulder the financial risks of a high-budget endeavor. Let’s see who eventually wins this race. And whether any of these films even make it to the screen.”
So far, the most popular zombie movie in Hindi cinema is Saif Ali Khan and Kunal Kemm starrer Go Goa Gone. The Raj & DK directorial is a zombie comedy.
In the same year as Go Goa Gone, a zombie horror film Rise of the Zombie was also released which was directed by Luke Kenny who also starred in it.
There is also a shelved zombie comedy titled Shaadi Of the Dead aka Rock the Shaadi
