Healthy Almond Milk Special Thandai Recipe
Ingredients:
1-liter almond milk (milk made by grinding soaked almonds)
10-12 almonds (soaked overnight and peeled)
8-10 cashews
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1 tablespoon fennel seeds
4-5 black peppercorns
2 green cardamoms
1 small piece of cinnamon
1 tablespoon rose water
1 tablespoon honey or jaggery
5-6 saffron strands (soaked in hot milk)
1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
Ice cubes (for serving)
Method:
Make a fine paste of soaked almonds, cashews, poppy seeds, fennel seeds, black peppercorns, cardamom, and cinnamon by adding some water.
Add this paste to the almond milk and mix well.
Add a mixture of rose water, honey, or jaggery and saffron and mix well.
To enhance the taste, you can chill it in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
Pour it into a serving glass, sprinkle chia seeds on top, and serve with ice cubes.
