Amitabh Bachchan visits Siddhivinayak and Babulnath temples

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan recently visited Siddhivinayak and Babulnath temples in Mumbai to seek blessings of the deities. He wrote about this experience in his blog, in which he talked about the religious divinity and blessings from God throughout the day. Amitabh wrote, "This day was filled with prayers, faith, and blessings of the Almighty. Visiting Siddhivinayak and Babulnath temples gave me a feeling of belonging and peace."

Importance of Siddhivinayak and Babulnath Temple

Siddhivinayak Temple was built in 1801 by Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil. This temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha and Ganapati is worshipped here. Babulnath Temple, on the other hand, is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the oldest temples in Girgaon Chowpatty. Devotees come here to have darshan of Shivling and seek blessings from Lord Shiva.

Food Experiences on Diwali

On November 4, Amitabh Bachchan shared his food experiences on the special occasion of Diwali. He told how he had been restricting his diet for a long time, but due to some reason he had to give it up. In the blog, he wrote, "I was restricting my diet, which had to be broken due to certain circumstances. I had this thought in my mind that maybe it is right for me, but when I consulted experts, I came to know that it had nothing to do with my guess."

Amitabh further wrote, "It is a relief to know that what we think is not always right for us. Many times our thoughts prove to be medically wrong. It is important to understand that before deciding what is right for the body, one should consult a doctor."
